- Named after former Detroit Red Wing hockey player: #13 Pavel Datsyuk

- Australian Shepherd

- 10 year old boy

- Loves to greet customers with a friendly and calm temperament (except the UPS, FEDEX, or Post Office guys).

- Has no concern for personal space. Especially if you have a pet at home.

- Enjoys laying on the cool, natural stone floors around here.

- Treats? You have treats? Is well trained by the World of Design and Universal staff around here and usually get’s what he wants. However, he listens to commands and is very well-behaved.



Shannon Loutzenhiser

Interior Designer

Shannon is a native of Toledo, OH. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University. She has been designing kitchens and baths for over 17 years. She also has a background in selling flooring, furniture, appliances and window treatments.

Shannon works with her clients to create their dream kitchen that is beautiful and functional. Shannon’s love for what she does, her easy conversation and her sense of humor make every design experience a pleasure.



Hilary Hinz

Interior Designer

Hilary has been with World of Design Kitchen and Bath since 2017.  For 8 years she has owned and operated her own Decorating Den franchise giving her a wide-ranging skill set that allowed her to take on the challenge of the opportunity that World of Design presented her, and she has not looked back.

A 2009 Graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Interior Design, Hilary’s career has flourished while at World of Design.  Her attention to detail and commitment to understanding every facet of a customer’s project makes her one of the best all-around Designer’s in the Toledo area.

Hilary enjoys the entire process that home building / remodeling entails.  Trends, styles and vision must all mesh together to create a comfortable and enjoyable living space.  Her experience in furniture sales allows for her to plan out details that others may overlook, such as incorporation a Homeowner’s dinette table and chair size to their 3D plan so that they can have a better visual of the space.   

Hilary lives in Maumee, Ohio with her husband Nate, and their daughter Jade. 

 

C.J. Murawski

Owner

C.J. grew up in the Toledo area, attending St. Joan of Arc grade school, St. John’s Jesuit high school and The University of Toledo.  While attending UT he began working with an area home builder, Brian Wright with Wright Custom Homes.  C.J. enjoyed the building process and especially showed interest in the finish carpentry aspects of home construction, eventually becoming a Partner with Brian, A partnership which continues to this day.

In 2016 Joe Allos, of Universal Marble and Granite, came to C.J. with the idea of starting a Kitchen Design company.  C.J. had been working with Joe and Universal for many years and had formed a solid foundation based on trust and friendship, thus they came together to create World of Design Kitchen and Bath. 

World of Design seeks out intrinsic design talent with a focus on project management.  Couple this Design Team with C.J.’s finish carpentry skills and Joe’s extensive granite and quartz collection and you have a level of knowledge and expertise unmatched in the Kitchen and Bathroom renovation industry.   

C.J. lives in Holland, Ohio with his wife E.B., and two son’s JR and Maverick.  Many that come to visit World of Design, will be greeted at the showroom door by their Australian Shepherd, Datsyuk, who seems to sneak in the truck almost every morning. 

"The industry of home building and home remodeling is based upon wonderful design ideas and trends, coupled with a good plan.  What cannot be forgotten is the talent of the individual chosen to put these ideas and plan together.  I am thankful that my Designers have helped me see their side of the process more clearly, while I have been able to expose them to the realities of the field, thus giving us a level of perspective that truly benefits our customers."
